Where does the band name come from? |
| US: |
|
"Shaped Like A Gun" is the title of a song by the band Verbena, off their 1997 album Souls for Sale. Sounded like a good band name. |

How did string instruments make it into the band? |
| US: |
|
Shaped Like A Gun was always envisioned with strings playing a major role in the music; they are just as, if not more important than bass & drums in developing the overall sound of the band. Without them it's an entirely different project. Actually, there are no strings in the band anymore, sorry. |

How long have you been together? |

Ray, Kestrin and Andrea started performing in October 2004, but the full 5-piece lineup wasn't formed until March 2005. Band fell apart in 2006. Reformed in late 2007. Fell apart in 2008. Reforming in 2009. Third time's a charm. |
