We have a last-minute show booked this Wednesday @ Lava Lounge in Hollywood. Very cozy, very red, very tiki-themed venue. We're on @ 10pm, $5 cover.
It will be a stripped-down acoustic show, just guitar & violin, perhaps with a little percussion. We'll perform the less-worn songs "Suffocation" and "Let's Waltz," as well as a new tune "The Rise & Fall of Shaped Like A Gun" -- somewhat aptly titled because...
...Shaped Like A Gun is currently undergoing a few lineup changes. Which probably warrants some explanation...just not at this moment.
On a lighter note, in honor of Wednesday also being Grammy® night, we will have 8 limited-edition CDs on hand with "46th GRAMMY® WINNER" stickers on them. Yes, really. And yes, this year is the 48th Grammy® Awards, so holding onto these stickers for two years has finally paid off.

Basque show went quite well; we set up guerilla-style and tried our best not to bother the people eating. Thanks to Nate and Ben for having us play, as well as the people in the tall, round building for attending.26

We're back to rehearsing again after two heavy weeks of recording and shows. Doing some arrangements for "Time and Happiness," also working on "Let's Waltz," "The Song Your Money Couldn't Buy," "Sweet Tooth" and other piece that's known as "The Disco Song" for now.
Our minidisc recorder is having some issues, but as soon as it's fixed we'll have some new mp3 clips up.
In other news, Kestrin is in China. Ray is recording two vocal tracks on Friday. We'll have some more shows booked near the end of July and into August.
